Hamilton County's prosecutors are reviewing Saturday's Crosstown Shootout brawl for possible criminal charges.

"My office will review the matter to determine whether any criminal charges are appropriate," Prosecutor Joe Deters noted in a Monday press release. "We will have no further comment until a decision is reached."

The game between between Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati erupted with 9.4 seconds left in the game into an ugly embarrassment for both schools. The game, televised nationally, was won by Xavier 76-53. Officials ended it after the brawl erupted.
