Random House Inc. and Lucasfilm are using the force of the Internet to release the entire backlist of Star Wars titles as e-books.

Thirty titles are currently available in the e-book format, but beginning June 28, all 106 will be available for download. Because of the enormous popularity of the books, published under the Bantam Spectra and Del Rey imprints, none of them have gone out of print in the 30 years since the first one was published. There are tens of millions in print in the USA.

All Star Wars e-books will come with bonus content including additional excerpts from some of the most popular Star Wars books, an updated Star Wars novels timeline and an introduction to the six major Star Wars eras: The Old Republic, Rise of the Empire, Rebellion, The New Republic, New Jedi Order and Legacy.
