Football fans will get their first taste of Madden NFL 12 via a demo launching Aug. 9.
According to an update on Electronic Arts' website, the demo will feature a rematch of the NFC Championship Game between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
The game launches Aug. 30 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Among the features being touted for this year's installment: enhanced collisions and advanced defensive A.I., custom playbooks, overhauled franchise and superstar modes and Dynamic Player Performance, which adjusts ratings for players from game-to-game and throughout the season.
