Troy Lilly's terrific photo of the Rhododendron maximum blooming at The Grist Mill in Babcock State Park in West Virginia prompted us to revive our Seasons in America series of photos from around the country.
Troy, whose nature photography on ForestWander.com captures the beauty of the region, notes that the Rhododendron maximum is the state flower of West Virginia and blooms for only 10 to 14 days a year.
Babcock State Park is just outside the small country community of Clifftop, W.Va.
We'd like to see your best photo of Summer in America.
