It was apparently a domestic dispute.

American Idol star Adam Lambert was arrested outside a gay bar in Helsinki today after getting into a brawl with his Finnish boyfriend and local reality star, Sauli Koskinen.

Lambert and Koskinen were arrested at around 4 a.m. outside DTM (Don't Tell Momma), a famous Helsinki gay club, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Both men were being held for questioning.

Update: The two have been released.

And Lambert has tweeted:

Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)

According to Finnish media reports, the dispute between the two men started in the club and then Lambert and Koskinen, 2007 winner of the Finnish version of Big Brother, were thrown out and continued their fight on the street outside.

Finnish beauty queen Sofia Ruusila, who had been partying with Lambert and Koskinen, told a Finnish entertainment channel that she had tried to get between the quarreling couple when Lambert accidentally hit her by mistake.
