The official dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial is not until Sunday, but the public can get an early look starting today.
The $120 million memorial features a 30-foot-high statue of King and excerpts from his speeches.
Visitors can view the memorial, which has been 25 years in the making, daily through Thursday until 10 p.m.

It will close Friday in prepartion for the official dedication at 11 a.m. Sunday, the 48th anniversary of the day he delivered his famous "I Have a Dream" speech on the steps of the nearby Lincoln memorial.
