Dolores Hope dies at age 102

Dolores Hope, wife of veteran funnyman Bob Hope, died this morning in Toluca Lake, Calif., her publicist has told Lifeline Live. She was 102.

Dolores and Bob had a longtime Hollywood marriage. The two wed in 1934 and were married for 69 years, until Bob died in 2003.

Dolores May Philomena Veronica DeFina Hope, who was a devout Catholic, avid golfer and advocate for adoption (she and Bob adopted four children), is survived by her children Linda Hope of Toluca Lake, Calif., William Kelly Hope of Oakland, and her grandchildren, Zachary Hope, Miranda Hope, Andrew Hope Lande and great-grandson Kai Smith.

Services are private and burial will be at the Bob Hope Memorial Garden, San Fernando Mission - next to Bob.
