Adam Lambert's If I Had You, the best-selling track from an American Idol alumnus this week, is approaching a sales milestone, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Though sales of Adam's latest single were off five percent last week, If I Had You should pass the half-million downloads mark easily this week.
The version of Photograph with Chris Daughtry singing was the best-selling individual track off Santana's Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time. Also making SoundScan's Top Digital Tracks chart from that album: a cover of The Beatles' While My Guitar Gently Weeps featuring India.Arie and Yo-Yo Ma. Also, sales of Daughtry's September jumped 28%.
