No one's safe from psychopathy on 'Hannibal'

Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is put in a mental asylum in the second season of "Hannibal."

Hannibal Lecter isn't the only psycho on his NBC show, but could the main character be completely crazypants too?

Ever since Hannibal premiered, the horror/thriller show has featured the psychological chess match between the title cannibalistic serial-killing psychiatrist (Mads Mikkelsen) and Graham (Hugh Dancy), a criminal profiler who all too often is visited by haunting visions while on the job catching the worst of the worst.

On Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, the second season of Hannibal saw Graham out to get Lecter as the culprit in the Chesapeake Killer slayings, but unfortunately he's been institutionalized in mental asylum, blamed for Lecter's crimes, and no one believes him that the good doctor isn't such a good guy.

In this exclusive deleted scene, Graham's FBI boss Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) has a meeting with Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson), Lecter's own shrink, about Hannibal — "He is the social antisocial," she says — but also to discuss what lies beneath Graham's exterior as well. (Fun fact: Anderson is a series regular beginning with the show's upcoming third season.)

In addition to deleted scenes, the Hannibal: Season 2 Blu-ray includes a look at the entire slate of episodes, Post Mortem webisodes with Scott Thompson (who plays CSI Jimmy Price), featurettes, a gag reel and audio commentaries for select episodes.
