Bar Refaeli makes out with tech nerd in Go Daddy's Super Bowl commercial

Danica Patrick, Bar Refaeli and the world's greatest extra star in Go Daddy's Super Bowl ad.

The Ravens and 49ers aren't the only two teams scoring tonight.

Go Daddy's first-quarter commercial is already igniting social media and leaving the rest of us clutching our stomachs.

The domain registry company's annual racy advertisement featured supermodel and former Leonardo DiCaprio girlfriend Bar Refaeli in a super slo-mo make-out session with a nerdy tech guy. It's gross, disturbing and probably a massively successful method of bolstering Go Daddy's name recognition.

If commercials are 30-second pieces of art, then this is dogs playing poker (while slobbering over one another). It appears to be a grand success if its goal (as usual) is to get you to say the name "Go Daddy" in casual conversation Monday, as in "that Go Daddy commercial was the worst part of the Super Bowl, and I'm including Phil Simms' commentary" or "of all the terrible things about that Go Daddy ad, the sound effects were the worst" or "oh, I'll see more of that Go Daddy commercial -- in my nightmares."

Oh, and Danica Patrick is in the commercial, too.

It took Refaeli and actor Jesse Heiman 45 takes to get the kiss right.

Well done, Jesse. Well done.

Ad Week reports CBS rejected the first two Go Daddy submissions, which means this is the most tame. I shudder to imagine the original.

If Heiman seems familiar, it's probably because he's been dubbed the "world's greatest extra." The 34-year-old has appeared in bit roles in dozens of films and movies, including Curb Your Enthusiasm, How I Met Your Mother, Entourage,The Social Network and Old School.
