Steve Gleason takes the ALS ice bucket challenge, challenges Drew Brees

NFL players and coaches across the league have banded together to take the ice bucket challenge to support ALS awareness this summer — even commissioner Roger Goodell dunked himself Tuesday, in honor of former New Orleans Saints safety Steve Gleason.

Gleason, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2011, one-upped the commissioner by doing his own ice bucket challenge, completely naked.

Gleason challenged New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu, Drew Brees, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, and his own brother Kyle.
