Look at this fan's ridiculously detailed Tim Duncan haircut

Rob Ferrel (@robtheoriginal) has seen himself as an artist his entire life. “I knew I loved to draw before I could read and write,” he says. Today, Rob is a professional hair artist and founder of Rob the Original Barbershop in San Antonio, Texas. As the local San Antonio Spurs (@officialspurs) enter a rematch with the Miami Heat (@miamiheat) in the NBA Finals tonight, requests for his popular basketball-themed styles continue from Spurs and Heat fans alike. Rob’s toolkit includes standard barber clippers and razors, but also colored eyeliner for the finishing touches. “I create every shape and shade on the portrait—like a puzzle,” Rob says. “You can only do so much with hair, so the eyeliner perfects the picture and makes it look realistic.” To see more creative hair art, follow @robtheoriginal. Rob Ferrell, owner and proprietor of Rob the Original Barbershop in San Antonio, Texas has been experiencing an influx of customers asking for basketball themed styles ahead of tonight’s rematch of last year’s NBA Finals. Rob’s toolkit includes standard barber clippers and razors, but also colored eyeliner for the finishing touches.

So many questions still abound though. How long did this Spurs fan have to sit in the barber’s chair? What conversation did he make while sitting there for that inordinate amount of time? Does he know Tim Duncan is a hugger? How does he plan on showering with that eyeliner in his hair? How much did it cost? Was it worth it, knowing that his hair will grow out and the design will be ruined before Game 2?

Judging by the Spurs logo tattoo behind his right ear, I’d wager none of these questions ever crossed this fan’s mind. Maybe the Spurs can do what they couldn’t do last year?

The Duncan cut isn’t the only one that Ferrell has done for Spurs fans.

Here are a few more of his stylings (via his Instagram):

And the entire Spurs Big 3.
