Brewers go dirty in All-Star campaign with attack ad against Yadier Molina

The Milwaukee Brewers are trying to get their catcher Jonathan Lucroy a starting spot on the National League All-Star Team, so they’re slinging mud.

The Brewers and FOX Sports Wisconsin unveiled a new attack ad aimed at vote-leader and perennial Yadier Molina — whose greatest indiscretion is playing for the rival St. Louis Cardinals. Kudos to them for not resorting to any comments about his neck tats.

For what it’s worth, Lucroy should definitely be an All-Star and probably deserves some early MVP consideration. He’s leading all qualifying Major League catchers in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging, and he’s solid and durable behind the plate.
