'Bachelor' Ben Flajnik, Courtney Robertson split

Romantics, you're out of luck.

Skeptics, you were right.

And Bachelor fans, you knew it all along.

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson have called it quits.

Yes, another match made in TV heaven has gone by the wayside.

The two tell In Touch in a joint statement, "After meeting over a year ago, we have decided to end our romantic relationship. The ups and downs weighed heavily on us both and ultimately we started to grow apart because of the distance, time apart, and our need to focus on our respective careers."

You may remember the two posed in August for lovey-dovey shots at home together in San Francisco, making it appear they might be heading towards the altar and getting closer to those "babies" Robertson envisioned five years from now. They called it "a soft move-in."

Just five days ago, Robertson tweeted a photo of the two of them happily doing some wine harvesting. But that's all off now, as is their engagement.

"We have nothing but the utmost respect for each other, and both feel this is the right decision," they say of their split. "We continue to remain friends and will support each other in future endeavors. Thanks to everyone for your love and support, it's been quite a ride."
