Purdue has released the helmet sticker its football team will wear to honor astronaut Neil Armstrong, who died Aug. 25 at 82.

Armstrong graduated from Purdue in 1955 and 14 years later became the first man to walk on the moon.

The sticker has Armstrong's name and the dates of his birth and death, in addition to an astronaut figure planting a flag with the Purdue logo.

It will be placed above the American flag logo on the team's helmets starting with Saturday's game against Notre Dame.
