President Obama and Mitt Romney will get the 60 Minutes treatment this Sunday in separate interviews with different correspondents.
The CBS News program announced Obama will sit down with Steve Kroft and Romney will take questions from Scott Pelley. The White House rivals will be asked similar questions on the economy, health care, national security and the federal budget.
Romney was originally slated to talk to Pelley on Sept. 12, but CBS News had to reschedule the interview because of breaking news in Libya and Egypt.
The 60 Minutes interviews come as Romney tries to get past the attention focused on his comments from a secretly taped video, in which he tells donors that nearly half of American voters are dependent on the government and won't be voting for him.
Obama and Romney are neck and neck in Gallup's daily tracking poll, with the president holding a 1-point lead.
