COLUMBUS, Ohio — This week marked the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. So for Ohio State’s final home game of the season, the famous marching band performed its newest animated routine in a “Salute to Gettysburg.”

The formation had everything from soldiers from the Union and Confederate armies marching, to the Lincoln Memorial, to cannons being fired. Also it was snowing the whole time.

It was another impressive performance from the “Best Damn Band in the Land.” The routines look flawless every week — whether the band is creating a T-Rex eating a Michigan player or making Michael Jackson moon walk — and an incredible amount of discipline and hard work goes into them. And instead of going to the bathroom or getting food during halftime, fans stood in the snow to watch the band perform.

And oh yeah, the football team beat Indiana 42-14 to extend its school-record win streak to 23 games while clinching a spot in the Big Ten championship game.
