Members of the service industry in Peyton Manning's next NFL locale, take heart: he's going to take care of you.
Manning's largesse was apparent during his recent stay in North Carolina, where he worked out at Duke University while rehabbing his throwing arm.
After racking up a bill for $739.58 (which included an 18% gratuity) at the Angus Barn in Raleigh, N.C., Manning threw in an additional $200 tip after dining with some buddies, which apparently included Colts TE Dallas Clark.
Unfortunately for the server who posted Manning's receipt on the web, he's no longer employed.
"This goes against every policy we have," said Van Eure, owner of the Angus Barn. "It's just horrible."
Well, OK.
Manning also caught a Duke-UNC game at Cameron on March 3, so it seems he enjoyed his time in the Tar Heel State. However we're guessing Cam Newton isn't losing any sleep.
Tip: Peyton Manning
Hat tip: Deadspin
