Chip Flanagan, RJ Gillen, Jacob Nierob, John Stevenson and Josh Williams will have new roles in the new administration after working under the previous staff headed by Trent Baalke.

“We are very excited about the current state of our personnel department and how it will continue to progress in the coming years,” Lynch wrote in a statement.

“Every member of our personnel team has demonstrated a tireless work ethic and an ability to selflessly support each other – attributes we believe are integral to our success as an organization. We congratulate these gentlemen on their new roles with the team and look forward to watching their careers continue to develop.”

Flanagan has been named a national scout after working previously as a regional scout. This season will be his 14th in the NFL and sixth with San Francisco. He spent eight seasons in Washington’s personnel department before joining the 49ers.
