Writers guild strike could upend 'Walking Dead,' 'SNL,' 'Tonight Show'

Your favorite TV show could hit pause if the Writers Guild of America —the folks who script the small screen's comedies and dramas — can't negotiate a new contract with studios by midnight on Monday. That means a strike would begin Tuesday, the sort that last sidelined writers for 100 days in 2007-2008. SpaceX launches, lands Falcon 9 rocket

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched from Kennedy Space Center at 7:15 a.m. ET Monday with a classified U.S. intelligence mission, a day after a sensor problem scrubbed a first attempt. After the launch, SpaceX successfully landed the rocket's first stage at "Landing Zone 1" at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, part of ongoing efforts to recover and reuse Falcon rockets.

SpaceX launch from January 2017.
