Round 3 (88): D’Onta Foreman, RB, Texas

The uncertainty surrounding retired Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch coming to the Raiders has reached an apex of sorts with the draft just eight days away.

As such, Kiper projects the worst case scenario for Oakland, selecting a running back “in the mold” of Lynch in former Texas running back D’Onta Foreman.

In Kiper’s own words: “The Raiders are still chasing Marshawn Lynch, but for now, I’ll give them a runner in the mold of Lynch. At 6-0, 233 pounds, Foreman ran for more than 2,000 yards last season, but a stress fracture in his foot kept him out of combine workouts. He did have an impressive pro day, however, with a 4.45 [second] 40[-yard dash].”
