So, yea, not a great week for humans, it’s fair to say.
First there was this disturbing news.
And now, in another blatant show of strength from scary animals, a giant alligator interrupted a HUMAN golf tournament by walking around on Kiawah Island’s Osprey Point Golf Course. Kiawah Island, in case you’re unfamiliar, is a world-renowned resort that has hosted the 1991 Ryder Cup and the 2012 PGA Championship, among other high-profile events.
The Post and Courier talked to some of those playing in the event:
“Alligators are quite a new thing for me. I’m used to squirrels that may try to mug you, but nothing larger than that. It was literally a dinosaur. People said it was one of the largest ones they had ever seen,” Moores said.
