Looking up picture of ferocious alligators in honor of this week’s PGA Tour event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, I stumbled across three rather tasty pictures. They may look like ordinary sandwiches hot dogs, but they’re not.

They’re alligator hot dogs.

All the food you see below is from NoLa’s “Dat Dog” restaurant. Here’s an alligator sausage hot dog with onions and relish.

So, would you eat them? I’ve eaten alligator once before and I must say, I think it’s distinctly average. If it wasn’t alligator, I doubt people would make much of a fuss about it. I’d take a bite out of all three, but I’d probably order the second one. That dog looks legit delicious.
