Joe and Jill Biden get a multi-book deal
Get ready for some insight into the lives of the Biden family.
Former vice president Joe Biden will write two non-fiction books, while Jill Biden will write one, publisher Flatiron Books, an imprint of Macmillan, announced Wednesday.
The first of Joe Biden's books will specifically look at how he worked at the White House while dealing with the loss of his son, Beau, who died in May 2015 from brain cancer.
"We're so deeply honored to be the publisher of these books by Vice President and Dr. Biden," Bob Miller of Flatiron Books said in a statement. "The vice president's book promises to give us all a deeper understanding of recent political history, but it will clearly also be a book about the values that have given the vice president strength in both good times and bad."
The Bidens aren't the only political couple to land book deals recently: former president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama signed deals with Penguin Random House in February.
