Watch: 'Stranger Things' star recreates 'Ferris Bueller' in Dominos ad

Steve from Stranger Things is getting a Day Off.

In an ad clearly dreamed up by nostalgic/brilliant marketers, the actor who plays the well-coiffed Steve on the Netflix hit, Joe Keery, appeared in a Domino's ad that recreates iconic moments from 80s classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off. But with smartwatches and Amazon Echos and stuff.

In two ads for the pizza company, Keery recreates Ferris' opening fourth-wall breaking monologue ("life moves pretty fast, if you can't track your pizza, you could miss it") and the mad-dash home at the very end of the film. And hey, Keery's Ferris isn't half bad.

Just a little something to tide us all over until Stranger Things returns in October.
