John Cena makes a young fan's wish come true in a heartwarming video

An awesome story about John Cena going out of his way to make one young fan’s wish come true surfaced on Reddit on Monday (H/T SB Nation). It’s far from the first time that Cena has done something great to brighten the day of a kid, but it never gets any less amazing to see.

The boy’s father, who’s name is Justin Marion on YouTube and Twitter, shared this YouTube video of Cena meeting him and his son, Payton:

In the video Justin says to Cena: “We use you for therapy and everything. He is your ultimate fan. You’re the reason he’s able to use this arm right here.”

The description of the video says:

A lot of people helped make my sons wish come true. I can’t thank you guys enough! Unfortunately John Cena was not part of the Meet and Greet package, but I didn’t let that stop us. Ironically with the help of John Cenas opponent in last nights match, we got to go backstage and meet him! Oh, did I mention John Cena also threw Payton his Shirt and wristband during the match!

On Reddit, Justin shared more in the comments:

“Actually AJ Styles arranged this. He saw us standing around, and asked if we wanted a picture. Of course we said, “Yes!” Then he asked if we got to see everyone. I told him everyone but my sons favorite, John Cena. He then told us to follow him, and took us backstage to the locker room. That’s when he went and got Cena for us!!

“The fact he made time for my son AFTER the event, speaks a lot. It was late, and I’m sure he was ready to leave. My sons life has been changed, and I’m forever grateful for his time.”

Other wrestlers also said hello to Payton, as his dad shared on Twitter:

As I said in the beginning of this post, this is far from the first time Cena has gone out of his way to do something like this for a young fan. He has granted a record 500-plus wishes in the Make-A-Wish program.
