Kansas forward Josh Jackson charged with misdemeanor property damage
Kansas guard Josh Jackson has been charged with misdemeanor property damage after allegedly kicking the car of a female student in early December.
According to a police statement Friday, witnesses said they saw Jackson kick the driver's door and rear taillight after an argument with the woman. The dispute allegedly occurred after the female student threw a drink the face of Jackson's friend.
The misdemeanor charge is for damage less than $1,000. Witnesses were not able to identify the possible identities of other people that may have caused damage to the car which is estimated at more than $3,000.
Jackson, a freshman is averaging 16.5 points and 7.1 rebounds for the Jayhawks, who earlier this week clinched their 13th consecutive regular-season Big 12 championship.
