Butch Jones takes stage at Dierks Bentley show in Knoxville
Dierks Bentley knows how to win over a crowd in Big Orange Country.
University of Tennessee football coach Butch Jones joined the country music singer onstage at Bentley's Thompson-Boling Arena show Saturday night in Knoxville, according to social media accounts.
Jones accompanied Bentley, dressed as a pilot, for the song "Drunk on a Plane."
After the show, Bentley posted to his Twitter and Instagram a photo of him and Jones onstage and wrote: "always a privilege to play Knoxville. A lot of respect for that arena and its history. Thanks @UTCoachJones for hanging."
Several fans documented Jones' appearance at the concert on social media.
At one point during the show, Bentley and his band played a rendition of "Rocky Top," UT's unofficial fight song.
Bentley, along with special guests Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi, was in Knoxville as part of his What the Hell tour.
