Charles Oakley watched the Knicks-Cavs game with Dan Gilbert

Despite the best efforts from Adam Silver and Michael Jordan, former Knicks star Charles Oakley isn’t ready to return to Madison Square Garden after his arrest and subsequent feud with Knicks owner James Dolan.

That didn’t mean he stopped attending Knicks games, though.

Oakley was in Cleveland on Thursday for the Cavaliers’ nationally televised game against the Knicks. He was sitting next to Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert.

According Cleveland.com, Oakley was the guest of LeBron James’ attorney Frederick Nantz, and Gilbert later invited him to sit courtside for the game.

It was a stark contrast from what happened with Oakley at the Garden.
