The North American International Auto Show in Detroit is once again wowing us with a host of sexy cars, luxury SUVs, rough-and-tumble pickups and minivans and high-tech concept cars.

VW goes nostalgic with the microbus
Volkswagen unveiled in Detroit its concept microbus I.D. Buzz that harkens back to the 1960’s.
This time the iconic microbus is a long-range electric vehicle and VW says it would be the first "multi-purpose vehicle" to be fully capable of driving itself.
Nissan’s ‘fun-to-drive’ SUV
Nissan doubles down on SUVs with the 2017 Rogue Sport, a five-seater that comes with a 141-horsepower, 2-liter four-cylinder engine.
Features include pedestrian detection, automatic front braking, blind spot alert, 60/40 split folding rear seat, 19-inch wheels, Bluetooth compatibility, dual-zone climate control, remote start, lane departure warning and assist.
Lightning McQueen looks like a million dollars
A life-size model of the lead character from Disney Pixar’s Cars made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show.

Volvo shows off its self-driving SUV prototype
Volvo unveiled the 2018 Volvo XC 90 Drive Me, the car that will be used in the real-life autonomous drive research program. It was the debut of the self-driving SUV prototype.
Audi goes 'ultra-luxury'
Audi introduced the Q8 luxury concept SUV that it says will have the "spaciousness of an SUV with elegance of a coup."
The sleek Q8 concept features limo-like room and accommodations, extremely powerful engines, luxurious materials and all the latest infotainment, safety and driver-assist features.
Honda Odyssey has 'magic slide' seats
The new sportier version of Honda's Odyssey minivan is stuffed with new technology and features including a new camera and a display screen to keep an eye on the kids in back rows.
But the coolest feature of the 2018 Odyssey is the new "Magic Slide" second-row seat that makes it easier to reconfigure the seats and provides easy access to the third row or for two passengers.
Toyota's new Camry: "Sexy and really sexy"
The top-selling car in the U.S. is Toyota's Camry and, according to a Cars.com analysis, it is the most made-in-America vehicle in the U.S. The Japanese automaker emphasized its American presence during its presentation of the latest update amid criticism from president-elect Donald Trump for producing cars outside of the U.S.
The automaker also poked fun at the Camry's dependable image by joking customers can choose between "sexy and really sexy."
Volkswagen's Tiguan gets stretched
German automaker Volkswagen introduced a stretched version of the Tiguan crossover that is nearly 11 inches longer and has 57% more cargo space.
The vehicle will get optional safety systems including forward-collision warning, pedestrian monitoring, blind-spot detection and lane-departure warnings.
GMC Terrain: A sculpted, aerodynamic look
General Motors' Terrain SUV got its first major appearance overhaul since it was introduced in 2009.
The revamp gives the 2018 Terrain a more car-like crossover look with more sculpted elements and a more aerodynamic shape.
Top honors: GM Chevrolet Bolt
The GM Chevy Bolt was named the North American Car of the Year. It is the first U.S.-made, mass-market, fully-electric car and has a range-per-charge of 238 miles, double most electric cars.
The Chrysler Pacifica minivan was named North American Utility of the Year and the Honda Ridgeline pickup was named North American Truck of the Year.
Ford F-150 shows off its towing capability
The perennial top-selling vehicle in the U.S. is getting a makeover for its 2018 model. The revamp of Ford's F-150 includes a redesigned front-end grille and wheel options and updated technology with safety and information features that help keep you more connected.

It's back: The Ford Bronco
Ford also announced at the auto show that it plans to revive the Ford Bronco. The rugged SUV was made famous by O.J. Simpson as his getaway vehicle in a low-speed chase with the Los Angeles Police Department in 1994.
