College basketball coach shakes hands with imaginary players after opposing team walks off

After the Siena Saints beat the Rider Broncs, 78-68, on Tuesday night in Albany, the Rider players refused to shake hands and walked off the court. Siena coach Jimmy Patsos had a hilarious response.

Rather than simply walk off the court, Patsos walked where the handshake line would’ve been and began shaking hands with several imaginary players. You can almost see him muttering, “Good game, good game, good game.”

The cause of the imaginary handshakes was a scuffle that broke out with a couple minutes left.

The fight resulted in multiple ejections and technicals.

A timeout was called by Rider close to the end of the game, which some thought was so the coach could tell his players to settle down, but obviously that was not the case.

Per reporters at the game, Patsos didn’t seem too angry or bothered by any of this, considering everything that happened.
