Jordy Nelson, other injured Packers WRs active for NFC title game

ATLANTA – All three of the Green Bay Packers wide receivers who missed most or all of practices this week because of injuries will play in the NFC championship game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Jordy Nelson (ribs), Devante Adams (ankle) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) are all active.

This will be Nelson’s first game back after suffering broken ribs during a wild card game two weeks ago. He was able to return to the field for limited work on Thursday, but missed Friday’s practice because of an illness.

Adams and Allison were both injured in last week’s divisional round win against Dallas.

This gives quarterback Aaron Rodgers his full arsenal of offensive weapons against the Falcons. When the two teams played in October, the Packers were without tight end Jared Cook, receiver Randall Cobb and receiver/running back Ty Montgomery.
