Nate Robinson says he’s waiting for LeBron’s call: ‘Do I gotta put my number on IG???'

Following LeBron James’ expletive-filled rant directed at the Cavaliers’ front office — “We need a (expletive) playmaker” — (that LeBron clarified in tweets saying he not upset at the front office, he just feels the team can still improve), players who aren’t in the league have been making it known that hey, they’re available.

D-Leaguer Jordan Crawford told LeBron to “holla at ya boy,” and Nate Robinson, who hasn’t played in the NBA since October of 2015, reached out, as well, sort of.

On Instagram, Nate wrote, “Do I gotta put my number on ig @kingjames ??? Cause I will until you call me lol #holdat”

Plus, Nate commented on ESPN’s Instagram simply writing, “Nate Robinson is available.”

Nate hasn’t played in the league in a while and the 5-foot-9 guard is on the older side at the age of 32. However, he has been staying in shape — very, very in shape. Fans are already tagging LeBron and the Cavs in photos like this one:

Last year, Nate played pro ball over in Israel, and he was trying to pursue his dream of making an NFL team. But this year, he has been trying to make his NBA comeback, though it hasn’t been successful so far.

When asked about LeBron saying the Cavs needed a point guard back in December, Nate told HYPEBEAST:

“Yeah, but I don’t understand why they wouldn’t hit me up. I don’t know why they don’t like me, man. I’m the most hated.”

I, for one, commend Nate for shooting his shot with LeBron and the Cavs. It never hurts.
