Watch: Matthew McConaughey makes a back seat look cool in new Lincoln ad

Pretty much the thing to do with a luxury vehicle is drive the darn thing. Matthew McConaughey might be the only guy who makes it cool just to sit in the back seat.

The A-lister cruising around in a Lincoln automobile has been a staple of car commercials since 2014, and even been parodied on Saturday Night Live. But it's also alright, alright, alright to enjoy four-wheeled relaxation in the new campaign kicking off this week.

We've got the exclusive debut of McConaughey's latest commercial, with the actor enjoying the look (and spaciousness) of a 2017 Lincoln Continental Black Label. "You might never just stand there, looking at it," he says. "I mean, you may never even sit in the back seat. That'd be a shame." The one-minute spot (entitled "Crafted") was directed by The Dark Knight cinematographer Wally Pfister and filmed in Iceland on a glacial plain — so McConaughey and his car look that much more iconic.

Fun fact: In addition getting behind the wheel yet again, McConaughey also throws in a few of his signature whistles and thumps when he's driving.
