Zac Posen reveals new uniforms for Delta flight attendants
It seems like a challenge Project Runway judge Zac Posen would present on his fashion design reality show: "Create outfits for Delta Air Lines employees."
But, it's actually something Posen went and did. The designer showed off the resulting looks in a runway show in Atlanta Tuesday.
Posen — who serves as the creative director of Brooks Brothers, has a line at David's Bridal and has designed pieces for celebrities like Claire Danes — created about four dozen new uniforms for 60,000 Delta employees, reports The New York Times.
The outfits are made of a flexible, stain-resistant ottoman fabric in three shades: plum, thistle and cardinal.
There are a few hidden details in the clothes: a rubber grip keeps a shirt tucked, certain blazers have pockets for walkie-talkies, and some lapels are sewn down onto jackets.
Posen even designed a new apron.
Think Delta will suddenly see an increase in job applicants soon?
