World Series Game 3 lineups: Carlos Santana gets it started
CHICAGO -- Carlos Santana will bat leadoff and play left field for the Cleveland Indians in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday night, the first Fall Classic game at Wrigley Field since 1945.
Kyle Hendricks gets the start for the Cubs, opposed by Cleveland's Josh Tomlin, with the series tied, 1-1.
Santana has played just four innings in left field in his career, but manager Terry Francona wants to keep his bat in the lineup in the National League park. He also has Brandon Guyer and Coco Crisp available for defensive purposes.
Jorge Soler will start in right after Joe Maddon benched struggling Jason Heyward again.
