A wet, raw day is forecast from the Great Lakes to the Northeast Thursday while another storm soaks the West Coast.

East: Rain is likely from the Great Lakes into the Northeast, with the heaviest likely in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania. The Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic will also see rain. Snow will develop over parts of the highest elevations of eastern New York State, with some freezing rain mixed in at times.

West: Rain will pelt portions of the Northwest on Thursday, all the way from Washington to northern California, where the rain will be heaviest.

Central U.S.: Clear skies and mild temperatures will be the story for regions from the Rockies to the Mississippi Valley.
