Tristian Lara is 12 years old and has Down Syndrome. Tristian comes to every Olney Bears football game and sits on the sidelines to cheer on his older brother Gabe who plays for the team. Sometimes, Tristian also helps the team and serves as a waterboy.

Tristian has always dreamed of scoring a touchdown during a football game. Gabe decided to take matters into his own hands to make sure his brother’s dream came true.

He came up with the idea of letting Tristian score a touchdown for the Bears in their game against the Winfield Cavaliers. The team is based out of Maryland and is part of the Olney Boys and Girls Club.
