NBA moves up Cavaliers ring ceremony so Cleveland fans don't have to choose

Thanks to a last-minute adjustment by the NBA, Cleveland fans won’t have to choose between their beloved Cavaliers or Indians.

The league announced it is moving up the Cavaliers ring ceremony to begin at 7 PM EST, which should give fans ample time to watch the ring ceremony before switching their attention to the first game of the World Series, which is set to begin at 8 PM EST.

The Indians will face the winner of the Dodgers-Cubs NLCS for a chance to bring another title home to Cleveland.

After the ring ceremony, the Cavaliers will face off against the Knicks, but it’s hard to make an argument that’s more important than the World Series. Cleveland fans don’t exactly seem to be ignoring the return of basketball though: Tickets on secondary markets are still going for $140 at the lowest as of post time.
