James Corden, Owen Wilson racing Usain Bolt is as hilarious as it sounds

There's always next time, James.

Despite James Corden reporting that he “destroyed” Usain Bolt in a 100 meter sprint on Twitter, the late night host was one of the many who have had the privilege of sampling Bolt’s dust.

On “a momentous day at the CBS Television City parking lot,” Bolt went up against Corden (who repped Jamaica, naturally), The Late Late Show staff, and “national treasure” Owen Wilson.

Shortly after the race began, Corden quickly slipped out of frame, as the astute race announcer observed, and the nine-time Olympic gold medalist crushed the sprint again.

A rematch should certainly be scheduled since Wilson was fighting a cold and jet lag. And, as Corden reminded us, on another day it could’ve been another man’s race.

“That’s the life of a professional track athlete,” he said. “Some days it comes and some days it doesn't.”

At least he has Carpool Karaoke and perhaps a part in the Backstreet Boys’ Vegas residency.
