No matter who ends up in the White House, Washington, D.C., will throw its biggest party in four years on Jan. 20, and hotels are already gearing up for it.

A number of Washington’s historic hotels are offering packages for stays in their presidential suites during Inauguration Week, and some have jaw-dropping price tags.

For $2.5 million, guests will get not one, but four presidential suites and another 325 guest rooms at the JW Marriott Washington, D.C., as part of its four-or five-night "Presidential Ovation" package. That’s enough to throw a party for 300 friends and family.

That will also include a $400,000 food and beverage credit, a craft bourbon barrel tasting reception, a personalized planning session to create menus, and a private viewing party on the hotel’s 12th floor 7,300 square-foot terrace. The 777-room JW Marriott is located along the parade route on Pennsylvania Avenue.

By comparison, the W Hotel Washington D.C.’s inauguration package is going for just $500,000. That gets you three nights in a 1,176 square-foot suite that has a view of the Washington Monument from the bathtub.

In addition to a stay at the EWOW suite, guests will get a private inaugural ball for 250 people and first-class roundtrip airfare to Reagan National Airport from anywhere in the continental U.S.

Other amenities include unlimited Veuve Cliquot during the entire stay with a commemorative engraved bottle to take home, a reserved table at the POV rooftop lounge, and front-row seats at hotel venues for the parade viewing.

The Fairmont Washington D.C. also has a $500,000 dog-friendly package package.  Designed for four people and their dog, the package includes a four-night stay in the newly renovated 1,800 square-foot presidential suite on the Gold Floor.

The package includes private jet roundtrip airfare to and from Washington from anywhere in the USA, butler service, a closet stocked by Saks 5th Avenue Chevy Chase, Md., with designer clothing for inaugural activities, in-room hair and make-up preparation daily, a signature cocktail to be named after you, and an evening reception in the suite for 20 including champagne and Beluga caviar. The hotel’s chef will even prepare home cooked healthy meals for the family pet.

The newly re-opened Watergate Hotel is celebrating its first inauguration in almost a decade with a $20,000 a night “Unapologetically Presidential Package.” In addition to overnight accommodations for two, guest will get spa treatments, custom monogrammed robes with a special Watergate Hotel logo, champagne and caviar, breakfast in bed and a personal photographer.

The St. Regis Washington D.C. recently renovated its presidential suite.

For $85,000, guests will get four nights in the newly renovated presidential suite at The St. Regis Washington D.C. The package includes butler service, overnight shipping of luggage, personalized White House stationary, a private dinner for four, afternoon tea for four, airport transfers in a luxury Mercedes S550, and a bottle of Dom Perignon.

The historic hotel located across from the White House has also recently gotten a makeover in its lobby, which is the site of a nightly champagne bottle sabering ceremony.

The Jefferson Hotel’s presidential suite is going for $60,000 for four nights. The package comes with nightly amenities such as a three-angle Smartphone camera lens.

The Renaissance Washington D.C. Downtown also has a $60,000 package. Guests will get four nights in the presidential suite with a fully stocked bar, a cocktail reception for up to 50 people, his and her spa treatments, and black car service.

The Mayflower Hotel is offering a $45,000 Inauguration Celebration package, which includes a four-night stay in the newly renovated presidential suite and two tickets to the Inauguration. In an unusual twist, the Mayflower plans to donate all the proceeds to Children's National Health System in the Washington, D.C. area.

That same price will get you a four-night stay in the presidential suite of the Park Hyatt Washington which includes a VIP tour of Mount Vernon, home of George Washington, and a feast for 12 at Blue Duck Tavern.

Park Hyatt will contribute a portion of the proceeds to Mount Vernon and the Trust for the National Mall, the official non-profit partner of the National Park Service.

Four nights in the presidential suite of The Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C. will run $34,000 if guests opt for the VIP package that includes special amenities such as monogrammed pillowcases with the official presidential seal, an Inauguration day survival tote and specially designed silk scarves.
