CHASKA, Minn. — The crowd is, to use a cliche, electric. Simply electric. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen before for a golf tournament, and louder than most sports stadiums. And as anticipation kept building ahead of the official start of the tournament on Friday, the crowd (expected to exceed 45,000 people strong), joined for an incredible rendition of God Bless America on the first tee.

Amazing.
