The personal is political.

At least for actress and activist Olivia Wilde who recently shared that she and her fiancé Jason Sudeikis are expecting a daughter, and that she is voting for Hillary Clinton in support of their daughter's future. Wilde broke the news on Twitter early Saturday while expressing support for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's latest ad, which highlighted GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's inflammatory comments about women.

"As someone who is about to have a daughter, this hits me deep in my core. #NeverTrump," Wilde wrote alongside the video, which intercut footage of young women looking in the mirror with clips from past Trump interviews, during which the reality TV personality and business tycoon criticized women's appearance.

This isn't the first time Wilde has rallied behind Clinton. Back in April, she told the Daily Beast: "I think she learned a lot from the last election (and) I think she’s done a tremendous amount of work since then. The fact that she feels the plight of women and girls as the most important issue of the 21st century is a huge reason why I’m supporting her."
