Three Michigan State players raise fists during national anthem

Three Michigan State players each raised his right hand during the national anthem on Saturday as the Spartans faced Wisconsin in East Lansing, Mich.

Michigan State faces Wisconsin on Saturday.

The three players were Delton Williams, Kenney Lyke and Gabe Sherrod.

Sherrod signaled his intentions during the week in a tweet saying he was ready to support the movement related to police shootings of African-Americans.

The anthem protests were launched by the San Francisco 49ers' Colin Kaepernick and have reached through colleges on down to high schools.
