Did you take a misstep and miss the last episode of DWTS? Read our recap here so you can get a coveted "10 from Len," should there be a quiz or something.

Before Hillary went up against The Donald, ABC primed us for their first presidential debate with a fun-sized hour-long episode of Dancing with the Stars, where the celebs went head-to-head with their fellow contestants. The winning couples received immunity and cannot be eliminated during Tuesday’s show.

The first celebs to face off were Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Jana Kramer, who danced lively jives with their respective partners, Allison Holker and Gleb Savchenko. Jana came out on top by just one point with a score of 26.

Next, the former governor of Texas, Rick Perry, and his partner, Emma Slater, faced off against Vanilla Ice and his partner, Witney Carson. The couples actually received the same score, 23, for their paso dobles. Ballroom rules state that lead judge Len Goodman gets to break the tie, and he gave immunity to Mr. Ice Ice Baby.

James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess going against Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke seemed like an unfair match-up to us. Though Ryan drops medals like they’re hot, it’s really no surprise that James and Sharna’s cha cha earned a higher score (29) from the judges.

Pairs Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber, and Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold, both performed graceful dances, however “Megatron” could’ve performed his Viennese Waltz in the end zone. He and Lindsay earned an impressive 32 points and immunity.

Maybe you had a Brady Bunch hunch, but we didn’t. The judges awarded Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev 28 points for their salsa, three more points than given to Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

It takes two to tango, and it took these four to blow us away. Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy went toe-to-toe with Marilu Henner and Derek Hough. Laurie and Val were the winners of this match-up, earning 31 points from the judges, certainly in part because of the Olympian’s “smelling a really good quesadilla” face.

As we mentioned, the winning couples are safe this week. See which partners are eliminated Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
