With the bulk of NBA free agency in the books, USA TODAY Sports explores how all of the offseason moves will alter each team as we look ahead to the 2016-17 season.

What do you think the starting five of your favorite team should be? Head over to @usatodaynba on Twitter and tell us.

Projected starting five: Los Angeles Clippers

(Statistics from 2015-16 season)

  • Chris Paul - Points: 19.5, assists: 10.0, rebounds: 4.2, steals: 2.1, field goal percentage: 46.2%
  • J.J. Redick - Points: 16.3, rebounds: 1.9, assists: 1.4, steals: 0.6, field goal percentage: 48.0%
  • Luc Richard Mbah a Moute - Points: 3.1, rebounds: 2.3, assists: 0.4, steals: 0.6, field goal percentage: 45.4%
  • Blake Griffin - Points: 21.4, rebounds: 8.4, assists: 4.9, blocks: 0.5, field goal percentage: 49.9%
  • DeAndre Jordan - Points: 12.7, rebounds: 13.8, assists: 1.2, blocks: 2.3, field goal percentage: 70.3%

Added - Marreese Speights, Jamal Crawford (re-signed), Austin Rivers (re-signed), Mbah a Moute (re-signed), Wesley Johnson (re-signed), Brandon Bass, Raymond Felton, Alan Anderson, Brice Johnson, Diamond Stone

Lost - Jeff Green, Cole Aldrich, Pablo Prigioni, C.J. Wilcox, Jeff Ayres (unsigned)

Biggest acquisition - Speights

After coming up short in the Kevin Durant sweepstakes, the Clippers spent the remainder of the offseason surrounding the starting lineup with a solid group of veteran role players, including Speights. A fan favorite during his three-year run with Golden State, the sweet-shooting 6-10 forward-center will help spread the floor and add some quality depth to the Clippers frontcourt.

Biggest departure - Aldrich

It was a quiet offseason in terms of players lost, but Aldrich — who averaged 5.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 13.3 minutes off the bench last season and ranked fourth in the NBA in defensive real plus-minus (+4.46) — will be missed as a key member of the second unit.

X factor - The bench

It's no secret that the fate of the franchise again rests on the shoulders of the core of Paul, Redick, Griffin and Jordan. It's also no secret that the clock is ticking ... fast. The supporting cast — with veterans Crawford, Speights, Felton, Bass, Anderson and Wesley Johnson — must be strong as ever if the Clips have any hopes of finally getting over the hump in what could be the core's last hurrah.

Offseason grade - B-
