Trump to start airing TV ads this weekend
Donald Trump's presidential campaign is reportedly going to start doing something it has yet to do this general election: television advertising.
Trump aides have informed Republican Party officials that ads will begin airing as early as Friday in at least four pivotal states: North Carolina, Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania
Trump is struggling in those key states against Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, who has been on the air for months.
In announcing staff changes earlier this week, the Trump campaign said "the first major TV ad buy of the general election (is) slated to start later this week "
The Associated Press reports that "Trump's campaign will spend roughly $4.9 million over the next 10 days on ads to air in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to Kantar Media's political ad tracker."

Trump is expected to advertise more after Sept. 1.
"Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort and other aides told about 50 Capitol Hill Republicans on a conference call Tuesday that he would begin advertisements in five states, according to a congressional source. The spots will air in five states, according to a Trump adviser: Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania — all places where Trump is trailing solidly."
