Wednesday's forecast: Soggy Florida, central U.S.
Heavy rain will drench much of Florida on Wednesday from a tropical system while a front soaks portions of the central U.S.
Florida: A very wet day is on tap for much of the Sunshine state on Wednesday, with heavy, potentially flooding rain likely from Tropical Depression Nine.
Plains, Midwest, Rockies: A cold front will trigger showers and storms from the southern Rockies to the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley.
East: Remaining showers from Tropical Depression Eight will move off the mid-Atlantic coast during the day.
Northwest: A few showers are possible in coastal sections of the Pacific Northwest.
