Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams convinced his entire wedding party to get makeup done and fake blood smeared across their face for a photoshoot inspired by The Walking Dead. ESPN was there to document it.

Williams says he’s a huge fan of the show and that this has been a fantasy of his for a long time.

“I wanted to do engagement photos with us being chased by zombies,” he says. They made it happen.

The zombie wedding party looks absolutely amazing and very convincing. Williams calls the experience “a dream come true” and “unbelievable,” and he said he’s glad he got to share this moment with the woman he loves.

“Not only did I become a Walker, but I became a husband,” Williams says.

I never thought I’d hear those words put together, but it’s awesome. Congrats to the happy couple.
