Phil Kessel brings the Stanley Cup to children's hospital in Toronto

For his time with the Stanley Cup, Kessel showed just how big a heart he has by bringing the trophy to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto on Monday.

Kessel confirmed awhile ago that he’d be bringing the trophy to his adopted home of Toronto, a city with which he has a checkered history, but there were no public events planned with the trophy, so this is somewhat of a surprise.

Kessel, a cancer survivor himself, has donated to the hospital in the past.

Though his time with the Maple Leafs ended disastrously Kessel has always maintained a positive relationship with the city and the people.

Just look at all those smiles.
